buss comunicação is a German-Portuguese agency for communication. Since 2001, it has been supporting national and international companies with services and advice – in Portuguese, German and English – in media relations, internal communication, training and marketing.

Silke Buss: founder and managing partner
Silke is a communications expert, strategist, doer and competitive tennis player.
She studied journalism for three years at the Munich Institute for Journalism and holds a PhD in Theatre and Media Sciences/ Political Science from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In 1997, she decided to move to Portugal, a country she was already familiar with due to her attendance at the German-Portuguese secondary school St. Antonius Bardel in Lower Saxony as well as several research stays in Lisbon and holidays at Portuguese families’ homes in Porto and Minho.
In 1999, she completed her PhD and began her career as a freelance correspondent for German media Die Welt and Der Spiegel.
In 2001, she founded buss comunicação.
